It’s easy to surround yourself with similar people, like-minded people, those who won’t challenge you. And that’s not always bad. But when marketing yourself or your ideas, engage with people who will dislodge you from where you are, who will lead you in different directions, and who will ultimately help you discover possibilities you might not otherwise have considered.

This means surrounding yourself with people who are wiser, more discerning, and smarter than you are (at least in certain areas). In my case, this is not a problem.

Go out of your way to spend time with people who will make you go out of what you think is your way.
